We are here in Vienna at Casino Montesino, which can be found in an entertainment centre. The entire third level is the casino. There are many tables, there is two or three tournament running at the same time, and of course there are cash games as well.
Everything in one place here: bar, slot machines, restaurant and of course Poker.
Yesterday, 225 players registered for the Betfair Poker live €100.000 guaranteed tournament. Today 355 players registered so, the casino opened another room in the second floor with 10-15 new tables, because there were not enough free space on the third floor. Although so many racers here, that many of the registered players can not reach Vienna because of the heavy snowfall across Europe.
The environment is professional, but many of the players are amateurs, until this time I have recognized only one professional Betfair Poker pro, called John Tabatabai from England.
The starting chips are 20.000 the blinds are 25-50, so most of the players are playing loose, probably the Hungarians play a bit tighter.

Next time Christodoulides said all in with KJ spades, and lost against A10 diamonds on a 9 2 2 4 Q board.

Only 5 players countinues the battle.
The blinds are 60.000-120.000 ante 8000. The polish guy went all in from the button at 840.000 chips with K3 off, what the chipleader Kern Christian called with A5. The board does not help the polish, so only 4 players left.
Soltys Wojciech won 8.540€.
We had a 5 minutes break, the blinds are 80.000-160.000 ante 10.000.
The standings:

Kern Christian 6.900.000
Stöger Markus 1.800.000
Kump Roman 1.700.000
Chamakala Manoj 1.300.000

Probably we have the winner?
Christian has more than 9 million chips, the others have together below 3 million.
Manoj and Markus doubles! Both of them against Christian. Manoj win with AJ against K9, Markus win with AJ against A8. So the three guys have also the same chips again. And another all in against Christian with AJ, but he had also AJ so they split the pot.
Still 3 players in.
We are on a new blind level 100.000-200.000 ante 20.000. And we are in the Heads-up!
Manoj went all in from the button with A8, Christian called with A7. The board helped to Christian with 2 7 Q, the turn was J, the river K. Manoj won 14.100 euros with the third place and a free package to Kiev where the next Betfair Live Tournament will be held!
There is no decision and what is more Markus won an interesting party! He raised from the button with K6 until 500.000 and Christian said all in with AQ. Markus called the flop K 6 4 . Christian can not believe this! Turn 8 River 5.
We have the new chipleader with about 7.200.000 chips. Christian is very frustrated.
New level comes 120.000-240000 ante 30.000.
We have the winner!!!
Christian goes all in with 87, what Markus happily called with AK. The board 2 Q 9 4 10. So the Betfair Poker Live Tournament winner is Markus Stöger! He won 30.680 euros. Kern Christian won 21.200 euros with the second place.
I hope you enjoyed the commentary, see you next time!
